Security Curator has three components:

A separate computer (or “server”) is usually used to store information. Computers with the Admin Panel installed may be connected to the server over the local network; this might be a single computer or several, belonging to the head of the organization or the network administrator. If there is no server on the network, any computer (such as that of the network administrator) can fill this role, so long as the gate module and admin panel module may be installed on that machine. The agent module is installed on all user computers that need to be monitored.
The administrator configures all of the settings used to monitor actions, events and operations carried out by users. This information is sent to the server and stored there. Thanks to this, you can keep an eye on user actions and inform the user about these forbidden actions, or give a timely warning to the network administrator. Security Curator also helps prevent the opening of harmful attachments or sites, sending messages, and any file operations or other actions.
Gate location on Windows 7 32-bit, Vista 32-bit and 2008 Server:
%systemroot%\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\TimeSvc3\
%systemroot%\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\GateSvc\
Gate location on Windows XP:
%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Application Data\TimeSvc3\
%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Application Data\gateSvc\
Gate location on Windows 2000/2003 Server:
%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\TimeSvc3\
%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\gateSvc\
Based on the way in which the system works, we recommended installing it in the following manner:
You should also turn off any Windows firewall that may block the connection between the Agent installed on the user's computer, and the Gate and Admin Panel.
Install the Gate module on a separate computer: it will store all of the data collected by the system.
In order to install the Gate, open the Gate.msi installation file.
Important:
The Gate locates and connects to installed agents and admin panels automatically.
Attempts to locate installed components can be blocked by firewalls and anti-virus software. If this is the case, you will need to connect the components manually.
Install the admin panel module on the computer on which you will set the rules for the system. It will receive all collected information.
Use the Administration.msi installation file to install the Admin Panel.
The Admin Panel automatically connects to the installed Gate.
Connecting to the Gate manually:
After installing the Admin Panel on a computer, you need to establish a connection with the Gate server. The Gate locates and connects to the Admin Panel automatically, but if autoconnection has been blocked, it is possible to connect manually.
To connect to the Gate manually, go into the program's settings through File / Options / Gate and in the "Host" field, enter the IP address or name of the computer on which the Gate module is installed.
Connecting agents to the Gate manual:
After all components have been installed, agents may be added to the agent list in the Admin Panel. The Gate locates and adds installed agents to the list automatically, but if automatic adding has been blocked, then agents should be added manually.
To ad an agent, you must:
- Click "File/Add Agent" and enter the name or IP address of the computer on which the agent has been installed.
- Click the "
" button in the toolbar and enter the name or IP address of the computer on which the agent has been installed.
Agents will be displayed in the panel titled "Data Manager".

Now everything is reading for monitoring and actions with respect to users.
Install the observation module on each computer you wish to monitor.
To install the Agent, open the Agent.msi installation file with administrator privileges on the computer in question.
The software can be removed by deleting each of the system's components. We recommended deleting components in the following order:
Go to the folder "%SystemDrive%\WINDOWS\system32\TimeControlSvc" and launch "uninstall.cmd" file.
For the 64 bit OS: В«%SystemDrive%\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\TimeControlSvcВ».
